CHENNAI: Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Friday granted a solatium of Rs 50 lakh to the family of Village Administrative Officer Kumar who lost his life in a road accident while engaged in Covid-related work on May 13.  Conveying his condolences to the bereaved family, Palaniswami promised government job to one of the family members of Kumar based on qualification.
