'I could've died': Woolworths customer with severe allergies slams the supermarket after mistakenly buying tuna sushi instead of chicken

A Woolworths customer who suffers from severe allergies has slammed the supermarket giant after she bought sushi labelled 'chicken teriyaki' when it actually contained tuna.
The shopper purchased the sushi from Woolworths in Westfield Carousel in the Perth suburb of Cannington in WA on Thursday.
After she realised the sushi contained tuna, not chicken, she posted two pictures onto the official Woolworths Facebook page and said mislabelling products can be deadly for people with allergies.

'As someone who suffers from deadly allergies, this could have ended extremely badly,' she said.
'This is not good enough. If it had of been crab and not tuna, I could be dead.
'Mistakes like this are dangerous.'
A spokesperson from Woolworths apologised to the customer and said she was entitled to a refund.
'We're sorry to see that the contents on the roll were not chicken,' the spokesperson said.
'We take these kinds of incidents very seriously, especially for our customers who have allergies. Our team will be looking into the matter.'
