Kerala: Husband, wife end life separately

THRISSUR: A 38-year-old man ended his life within hours after finding out that his wife, who had tried to commit suicide two days ago, had breathed her last in Thrissur district on Thursday morning.
Anthikad police identified the deceased as Nedungatt Veettil Jyothi of Valapad and his wife Sajitha (30).
Police officers said that the couple would frequently quarrel and there were reports that the husband had tortured the wife.
Sajitha had tried to end her life by swallowing poisonous seeds two days ago. She died in a hospital at around 3am on Thursday. The husband later ended his life by hanging from a tree at Pazhuvil.
