Honda two wheelers opens 45% dealerships, retails 21,000 units since Covid-19 relaxation

GURUGRAM: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India on Friday said over 45% per cent dealerships and 30 per cent of total touchpoints reopened post-lockdown relaxation.
Resuming dispatches this week, the retail sales momentum has started building up and Honda’s retail sales have crossed the 21,000-unit mark, HMSI informed.
Parallely, nearly 2.5 lakh Honda customers have got their two-wheelers serviced at its dealerships and authorized service outlets across India.
All these outlets are firmly adhering to the guidelines issued by the Government and also ensuring their processes and infrastructure readiness as per comprehensive “Dealership Operations Resumption Manual” released by Honda.
Yadvinder Singh Guleria, director – sales and marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India said, “In these challenging times, Honda 2Wheelers India is cautiously moving forward synergizing with the new ecosystem. Safeguarding the health and well-being, Honda network is well equipped & geared up to delight customers. With ready availability of six of India’s favorite BSVI products, we are seeing increasing take off in retails by the day. Growing numbers of vehicles reporting at our touch points for servicing is a testimony to customers’ trust and assurance in Honda and our network readiness to serve them while taking care of new hygiene and social distancing norms.”
