In a relief to senior citizens, Paytm Payments Bank Ltd (PPBL) has announced a 'Cash at Home' facility so that they don't have to step out of their homes to withdraw money.

The service will enable raising cash withdrawal requests through the Paytm Payments Bank app  and the requested amount will be delivered to them at their homes.

Speaking on the development Satish Kumar Gupta, CEO & Managing Director, Paytm Payments Bank said, “We have continued with our efforts to expand the digital banking network in the country and benefit millions of our customers with innovative features & unmatched service. Our latest ‘Cash at Home’ facility will be of immense help to those people who cannot visit an ATM or bank branch due to age, health, or any other issues.”

To avail the service, a customer has to click on the option in the Paytm Payments Bank app, enter the desired amount and submit the request. An executive from the bank would deliver the requested amount to the registered address within two working days of raising the request.

The minimum amount that can be withdrawn is Rs 1000 while the maximum is restricted to Rs 5000.
