A couple purchased a luxury unit for $1.45 million despite not having seen it in person due to lockdown laws.
The Sydney couple were unable to visit due to state border restrictions but wanted to secure the two-bedroom Gold Coast apartment this week.
Lucy Cole, the managing director of Lucy Cole Prestige Properties, told the Gold Coast Bulletin: 'They were a bit nervous buying sight-unseen but they didn't want to miss out.'

She said the couple committed to the asking price of $1.45 million and paid a 10 per cent deposit after a virtual tour.
Ms Cole explained: 'They have been waiting for the borders to open and when they realised they weren't going to be open for some time, they thought they would secure the property.'
'I did a virtual tour and took them through the entire apartment in about an hour.'
The two-bedroom unit is located in the Silverpoint tower apartment complex alongside Main Beach.
Ms Cole said it was highly unusual to purchase a residence without ever stepping foot inside the property.
She noted the buyers did not have any other choice amid the current COVID-19 restrictions.

Ms Cole said the couple planned to use the luxury unit as their Gold Coast holiday home.
Australia is currently in its first stage of relaxing coronavirus restrictions and New South Wales will allow up to 10 patrons to visit a pub or restaurant from today.
Further changes include allowing five guests in a hosuehold and encouraging children to return to school.
Interstate travel rules are expected to change in the next phase of eased restrictions within the coming months.
