Aldi Australia is preparing to launch a freestanding wine fridge big enough to hold 28 bottles of your favourite white, red or rosé.
Shoppers can bag the fridge for $279 in stores nationwide from Saturday, May 23 as part of the German-owned supermarket's bi-weekly 'Special Buys' sale.
Similar models with 30-bottle capacities start from $467 on Appliances Online, which means Aldi is offering a comparative saving of $188 next weekend.
Designed with sleek black hardware, the fridge is fitted with a double-glazed door to keep alcohol ice cold until you're ready to drink.

LED lighting illuminates the inside which is stacked with premium timber shelves, each wide enough to hold four bottles.
A drawer slides out underneath, with space for another 12 Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon or whatever you prefer.
The fridge weighs 31 kilos - dimensions run 847mm x 470mm x 475mm, with further details available on Aldi's official website.
Also included in the May 23 'Special Buys' deal is a range of affordable kitchen appliances and power tools, in answer to the baking and home renovation crazes which have swept Australia since isolation began in March.
