As posted on its website since April, the Tiverton Historical Society is collecting photographs of the effects of this pandemic on Tiverton and towns in the local area.

If anyone would like to submit a photo of roped-off playgrounds, signs in windows, shuttered businesses, teddy bears in windows, thanks to essential workers, etc., email it (preferred) to susan@tivertonhistorical.org or mail to THS at PO Box 95, Tiverton, RI 02878 with a description of the location. Any poems, thoughts, or short prose written by Tiverton residents or business owners on the subject are also welcome.

THS posted the history of the 1918 pandemic in New England on their website in "Tales of Tiverton" in April. This month highlights three women pioneers in health care: Florence Nightingale, Dorothea Dix, and Clara Barton. Every month the "Tale" changes, but past articles are kept online for posterity.
