An avalanche has hit Lugnak La region in Sikkim. Concernd authorities have started search operations after some jawans and officers went missing. An army team has also been put on task.
As per initial reports, a patrolling cum snow clearance party of 17-18 soldiers came under the avalanche. All have been recovered except one soldier following which an intense search operation is in progress. More to follow.
