Centac Puducherry publishes PG medical and dental admission lists

PUDUCHERRY: The Centralised Admission Committee (Centac), which published the provisional lists of candidates who were allotted seats in postgraduate medical and dental courses under government and minority (management) quotas, has directed the candidates to report to their respective colleges on or before May 17.
The candidates, who cannot report in person, can also report online, as per the notice issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of the Union health and family welfare ministry.
The Centac has published the provisional allotment lists and MCC's notice on its website https://www.centacpuducherry.in.
The committee published the lists as per the updated merit list for the first round of postgraduate medical and dental admissions. The committee updated the list after a few candidates submitted their community certificates belatedly. The candidates could not get community certificates from the revenue department on time due to the lockdown.
The committee directed the candidates allotted seats under minority quota (Telugu or Christian minority) to pay the fees fixed for management quota seats as per the order passed by the Puducherry health secretariat. The order is posted on the committee's website.
The committee requested the candidates to transfer the fees fixed and notified by the Puducherry government to Centac's bank account through electronic transfer. The committee will transfer the fees collected to the college concerned.
