280 more placed under quarantine in state

Around 280 people were placed under quarantine soon after their arrival in the state on Monday as a preventive measure to control the possible spread of the dreaded COVID-19. 

The Directorate of Health Services informed that 167 interstate domestic travellers have self-isolated at homes in the state. 

On Monday, six new suspected cases of COVID-19 were reported in Goa. All patients were quarantined at the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim, immediately after they were found showing symptoms of COVID-19.

The state has so far seen 249 suspected cases of the dreaded virus. On Monday, 459 samples were drawn for testing, and all samples tested negative for COVID-19.
