Aadhar will be able to add ration card till September

The Food Ministry clarified on Monday that the period for linking ration cards to Aadhaar has been extended till September. Along with this, he also emphasized that despite not having biometric identification, the beneficiary will continue to get his share of ration quota.

The ministry's statement came after reports that the ration card would be canceled if it was not linked to the ration card.
