FALL RIVER - As a result of a $10,400 grant from Bristol County Savings Bank, Argosy Collegiate has now been able to expand access to technology for scholars experiencing hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Last week, 40 Argosy Collegiate families received new Chromebooks to ensure that their scholars can continue with an education that is preparing them for success in college, career and life.

With Chromebooks and programs costing roughly $300 per device, Argosy Collegiate was able to purchase five devices with its own funds in addition to the 35 purchased with the grant from Bristol County Savings Bank. Now Argosy Collegiate is asking for support from the community to help purchase 60 additional Chromebooks needed to continue to support Argosy Collegiate scholars.
