With half century jump on Tuesday, Haryana Covid-19 count reaches 780

CHANDIGARH: The Covid-19 count of Haryana reached 780 on Tuesday as 50 new positive cases, mainly from Gurugram, Faridabad and Sonipat were reported. Five persons have been discharged from hospitals and now Haryana has 427 active cases.
According to bulletin maximum of 16 cases were reported from Gurugram which continues to lead the state with 161 cases. 15 cases were reported from Faridabad which took district total to 117 and 13 cases were reported from Sonipat where the total has gone upto 118.
According to information most of the cases in Gurugram, Faridabad and Sonipat are linked to the vegetable vendors and the vegetable market in Azad mandi of New Delhi.
While one case each has come from Ambala, Panchkula, Jind,, Karnal, Rewari and Kurukshetra.
Bulletin revealed that 23805 persons have completed the quarantine period and now there are 13787 persons are under quarantine.
The tests per million have gone up to 2461 on Tuesday and as on now total 62377 persons have been tested out of which 56440 are tested negative.
