87 fresh cases of coronavirus in Rajasthan
Rajasthan recorded 87 fresh cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, taking the state's virus tally to 4,213, an official said. The state has so far seen 117 deaths due to the virus, with Jaipur accounting for 60 deaths. "As many as 87 fresh cases have been reported in 10 districts of the state today, including 32 in Jaipur district," Additional Chief Secretary (Health), Rohit Kumar Singh, said. Besides Jaipur, 24 cases were reported in Pali; 12 in Udaipur, seven in Rajsamand, five in Swai Madhopur, three from Kota, two from Tonk and one each in Banswara, Tonk, Bharatpur and Nagaur. A total of 4,213 cases of the virus have been reported in the state so far. Singh said so far 2,455 patients have tested negative for the infection after treatment, of which 2,159 have been discharged from hospitals. The state has 1,641 active cases.

Lockdown: First train reaches Delhi, passengers scramble for transport for onward journeys
Hundreds of passengers from Gujarat and Rajasthan reached New Delhi on Wednesday on the first train to arrive here since the resumption of railway services, as a large number of them gathered on roads outside the station with no transport available for onward journeys. The train departed from Ahmedabad at 6:30 pm on Tuesday and reached New Delhi at 8 am. The Indian Railways resumed passenger train operations from May 12, initially with 15 pairs of trains, weeks after these were suspended due to the coronavirus-triggered lockdown. Many passengers stood clueless outside the railway station, while some tried to convince to local cab drivers to take them home in various states. A group of 14 men who worked at a hotel in Jaipur were among those scrambling for a transport. Ashok Tamta, 22, from Khatima in Uttarakhand said they have no clue as to how they will reach their home.
