NEW DELHI: Around 40 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Tuesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were AU Small Finance Bank, Brigade Enterprises, D.B.Corp, DCB Bank, GE Power India, Prataap Snacks, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India, State Bank of India and S H Kelkar and Company.

Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 144.80 points down at 9094.4 , while the BSE Sensex was trading 520.84 points down at 31040.38 .

In the Nifty 50 index, UPL , Vedanta , NTPC, HCL Tech and Tech Mahindra were among the top gainers on the NSE.

However, HDFC Bank, Kotak Bank, Zee Ent., Tata Steel and HDFC were among the top losers.
