Former PM Manmohan Singh has been discharged from the AIIMS hospital in Delhi two days after he was admitted to the cardiothoracic ward with chest pain.

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has been discharged from AIIMS, New Delhi on Tuesday afternoon. Manmohan Singh was admitted to AIIMS on Sunday evening after he complained of chest pain and uneasiness.

Manmohan Singh was admitted to the cardio-thoracic ward of AIIMS on Sunday. He had developed a fever after his system reacted to a new medication, said the AIIMS on Monday.

Two days after the admission, Manmohan Singh has now been discharged. According to the doctors, his condition was stable on Monday.

Hospital sources said Manmohan Singh underwent a series of medical tests in the two days of his hospital stay. The veteran Congress leader is 87 years old.
