Mumbai University launches helpline facility for exams and admissions

MUMBAI: The University of Mumbai has started a helpline number and a mailing facility for students to offer guidance on examinations and admissions to the next class during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Students can contact the helpline on +91 96190 34634 and +91 93737 00797. They can also mail on examhelpline@mu.ac.in with their queries. Students from the Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL) can write to info@idol.mu.ac.in for any assistance on admissions and examinations. The numbers will be available from 11 am to 5 pm everyday.
The helpline facility was launched on UGC's guidelines and state's higher and technical education department's directive. The state had decided to conduct exams only for final year students of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, while the rest of the students will be promoted.
While broader guidelines have been released by the state, the university will soon come out with its own action plan for examinations. Faculty-wise details will be released soon, said a statement issued by the university.
