In an unusual turn of events, a large snake was seen climbing on to an ATM in Ghaziabad's Govindpuram, several videos of which have gone viral on social media.
A video, shared by Twitter user Amit Bhawani, showed the snake first approached the glass door, perhaps hinting that it wanted to leave before going back to the cash dispensing machine and entering it through a hole.
The presence of a snake inside the ATM led to panic among the people who had gathered to withdraw cash, Hindi news daily Amar Ujala reported.
Be careful when you are at the ATM!

I guess after the clean up of NPA and stoppage of loan disbursal services through phone banking the snakes in our system had to find a way to get the money out .

The matter was then communicated to the area MP General VK Singh (retd) from where the forest department was intimated. A team was then dispatched to the location of the ATM in Govidpuram's J block.
The team rescued the snake after some struggle, and the residents of the colony breathed a sigh of relief.
