'Ink Master' star Daniel Silva arrested for murder after car crash kills YouTuber Corey La Barrie

Ink Master reality star Daniel Silva was arrested for murder on Monday following a fatal car crash that killed YouTuber, Corey La Barrie.

Daniel, a 27-year-old tattoo artist, appeared on Paramount Network's reality competition series Ink Master season 10 in 2018.

According to TMZ, the two men were seen together at a party on Sunday, celebrating Corey's 25th birthday. Later in the evening, the Los Angeles Police Department were called to the scene of a car accident in the Valley Village neighbourhood. 

It was reported that Daniel was in the driver's seat and Corey in the passenger side of the vehicle.  Both were transported to a hospital, where Corey later died. 

Police confirmed to USA Today that the incident was related to drunk driving and that Daniel is currently in police custody, with a representative confirming he was "driving the car under the influence of alcohol, crashed and killed the passenger" and has been charged with murder. 

The LAPD also said that Daniel tried to leave the scene after the crash, "but was stopped by citizens who came to render aid."

In an Instagram post, Corey's brother, Jarrad confirmed reports writing: "Corey passed away last night in a car accident with his drunk friend driving."

Corey's birthday celebrations on Sunday included a live stream on his Twitch channel.

Fans have been sharing tributes in the comment section of what has become his final YouTube video, "Deleting This Video In 24 Hours...."

Corey had more than 335,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.
