Over 2,000 migrants flock to Boisar after rumours of a train to Patna

MUMBAI: Rumours of a train to Bihar saw over 2,000 migrants, including families, flocking to a school ground in Boisar on Tuesday.
The crowd turned angry when they were told no train for Patna in Bihar was scheduled for Tuesday.
The migrants said that they had received messages about the train to Patna on Tuesday from Palghar station.
Migrants expected to be tested and allowed to board the train. District officials said that no train was leaving from Palghar on Tuesday.
On Monday, a train had left for Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh from Palghar station.
