MUMBAI: A migrant taxi driver, a jewellery craftsman from Zaveri Bazaar, an out of work tailor who now stitches masks for postal employees, and a labourer who came to the post office to send money to his family in his native town, have all been invited to release a special postal cover on the migrants of Mumbai on Wednesday. India Post will release the special cover in the Bicentennial Hall of the General Post Office in Fort.
Chief postmaster general of Maharashtra and Goa, Harish Chandra Agrawal, said, “We wish to acknowledge the contribution of natives of other states in building this city.
