* Update at 11.40am:

* ANI update at 11.10am: People returning to Karnataka from other states will have to remain in institutional quarantine even if they are asymptomatic, according to Department of Health and Family Welfare Services, Government of Karnataka
* Update at 10.00am: A special train from Bengaluru, carrying around 1,200 passengers, arrived in Bengal's Bankura on Tuesday morning, official sources said.
* Update at 9.00am: Spike of 3604 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours; total positive cases in the country is now at 70756, including 46008 active cases, 22454 cured/discharged/migrated cases and 2293 deaths

Hospitals shut door over virus fear, woman gives birth in auto
A 27-year-old woman delivered a baby boy in an autorickshaw near KR Market after her family’s fourhour bid to get her admitted to government and private maternity hospitals in Bengaluru failed late last week. The hospitals cited Covid-19 transmission fears and shut the door on her.
