Rajasthan issues new guidelines for issuing passes to people during lockdown

AMN / JAIPUR

The Rajasthan government has issued fresh guidelines to make the system easier for issuing passes to people during the lockdown. Under the new system, no pass is required for movement within the district and inter-district for permissible activities. These guidelines have been implemented from today and this rebate will be allowed from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Now District Collectors, Superintendents of Police, Sub-Divisional Officers and other districts level officers have been authorized to issue passes to people for traveling other states by their own vehicles. District collectors are authorised to issue passes for travel to other states by bus and train. District collectors are empowered to issue passes for the curfew areas also.

The pass issued by the respective state will be valid for those who are coming to Rajasthan from other states. If that state asks for NOC of Rajasthan, the concerned district collector will issue NOC. Meanwhile, 84 people have been tested positive for COVID 19 in the state today, out of which 40 are from Udaipur. On the other hand, all 61 BSF Jawans in Jodhpur tested positive earlier have been recovered and discharged from the hospital.
