Earlier on May 7 and May 8, two special trains had ferried 1,188 and 1,316 labourers towards Katihar and Bhagalpur in Bihar respectively.
"Passengers on board in Shramik special train will be allowed to de-board at Muzaffarpur station only. The train is expected to reach there around 12.30pm on Tuesday”, said Ambala division railways PRO Dalip Singh.
Ambala nodal officer for managing migrant labourers Satinder Siwatch said, "Under the supervision of Ambala deputy commissioner Ashok Kumar Sharma and nodal officer Captain Shakti Singh who came from Chandigarh; 1,188 migrant agriculture labourers plus 6 children have been sent back to Bihar. The labourers are from several districts of Bihar, including Gopalganj, Dharbhanga, Western Champaran, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Shivhar, and Sitamarhi.
