Yogi Adityanath, CM Uttar PradeshNOIDA: Given the pressure on government hospitals for the treatment of coronavirus positive cases, the District Development RWA (DDRWA) has written to UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath demanding directive to authorise private hospitals to allow treatment of Covid-19 cases.
“We had petitioned to UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath to authorise private hospitals to begin novel coronavirus treatment in their premises as government hospitals are burdened with majority number of cases. At a time like this worldwide pandemic, the role of private hospitals become very important in lending a helping hand to the government,” said NP Singh president DDRWA.
Singh adds that those who can afford private hospitals should be allowed to get their treatment from there. “This will help ease the burden from government treatment centres,” said Singh.
“This is a very genuine request and also important, as those who can afford private hospitals, should take treatment from there. This way the less privileged can be treated better in government hospitals,” said Akshay Kapoor resident of sector 44.
According to Singh, a positive response was received from CM office in principal on the matter, even as a government order is yet to be released.
