One death in Faridabad as Haryana's Covid-19 tally reaches 703

CHANDIGARH: Number of cases in Sonipat reached the 100 and Haryana crossed 700 mark as total 28 new Covid-19 cases, maximum from NCR and one death was been reported on Sunday. Now, total Covid-19 count of Haryana has gone to 703. And the death toll has reached 10 in the state.
10 Covid-19 patients have also been discharged from hospitals after treatment. With this, the total number of active Covid-19 patients has come to 393. 300 have been discharged after treatment.
Maximum of 11 new cases have been reported from Sonipat. This conclude two from the family of Delhi police constable and rest are linked to fruit and vegitable market vendors. Sonipat has jumped to number two in state. Gurugram continue to top the table with 142 cases.
While seven new cases and a death has been reported from Faridabad. A 73 year old woman who had been chronic diabetic and suffered from other problems had died in a private hospital.
In Bhiwani, a JBT teacher and his two children have been tested positive. They are shifted to PGIMS ROhtak for treatment. While two cases have been reported from Panchkula district. Wherein a truck driver as well as maid of police station are tested positive.
While one case each Charkhi Dadri, Kaithal, Rohtak, Palwal and Nuh districts.
A bulletin released by health directorate revealed that test per million has further gone up as till Saturday 56,983 persons have been examined and out which 51,046 have been tested negative. A total of 23,049 persons have completed the quarantine period and doubling rate in Haryana has been recorded at 9 days.
Meanwhile, the health department informed that have started the random sampling of truck drivers, road side vendors, policemen and health officials.
