Following the freight train accident with migrant workers in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has appealed to the workers trapped in the lockdown not to walk to their place of residence. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot made this appeal while reviewing the high-level meeting on the movement of migrants at the CM residence on Saturday.

Ashok Gehlot said during this time that proper arrangements are being made by the Government of Rajasthan to take the trapped workers to their respective places through buses and trains.

During this, Ashok Gehlot instructed the officials to ensure arrangements for the workers who have left on foot, along with camps and food on the way. No workers are hungry and thirsty. He said that in this hour of crisis, protecting every person's life and sharing their grief and pain is our top priority.

Significantly, on Friday, 16 migrant workers who slept on the tracks in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, were cut off from the goods train.
