Tavares promoted at Bristol County Savings Bank

TAUNTON — Bristol County Savings Bank, headquartered in Taunton, announces the promotion of Isaura (Sara) Tavares to the position of assistant vice president/cash management. In this capacity, Tavares assists in the development of relationships with business and municipal customers through the implementation and employment of the bank’s cash management products and services.

Prior to her promotion, Tavares held the positions of cash management officer and cash management specialist, as well as assistant branch manager at the bank’s Freetown office. Previously she served in a number of capacities with Santander Bank, including assistant branch manager and customer service manager for its New Bedford branch office, and was also a licensed fixed annuity specialist.

Tavares has a history of being active in the community, volunteering for a variety of nonprofit organizations in the local area, including The Schwartz Center, the Dennison Memorial Community Center, Gifts to Give, United Way of Greater New Bedford, the American Heart Association’s Southern New England Heart Walk and The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

A graduate with honors from the New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College in Wellesley, Tavares resides with her family in New Bedford.
