JAIPUR: One person died while forty-five persons were tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on Sunday afternoon taking the tally of coronavirus infected persons to 3753.
The death reported from Jaipur is 57th death of the city and 107th death of the state.
The districts which reported the Covid-19 cases are Jaipur (11), Udaipur (9) and Kota (9). Five were tested positive in Ajmer, while three were found infected in Jodhpur. Two persons each were diagnosed with Covid-19 in Nagaur and Pali, while one each case was reported from Bikaner, Dungarpur, Jalore and Tonk.
However, 14 persons have recovered from Covid-19 in the state. Out of 14, four persons recovered in Banswara, two in Bharatpur, six in Chittorgarh and two in Nagaur.
In the state, as many as 1924 persons have been discharged from hospitals till date after being cured of Covid-19. However, there are 1470 active cases of Covid-19, who are undergoing treatment in different districts. Out of 1470, 29 patients were discharged from the hospitals on Sunday after being cured of Covid-19.
The results of 3841 samples are awaited in the state.
