Palo Seco man, 50, held for sexual offense against a minor

ON Monday a 50-year-old man from Palo Seco was arrested for sexual offence against a minor. He was charged with one count of sexual penetration after a report was made to the Child Protection Unit.

Police said the man entered the victim’s bedroom and sexually assaulted her. The victim called out for help and was assisted other family members, who made the report.

The man was expected to appear at the Siparia Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.

The arrests were spearheaded by W/Supt.George and ASP (Ag) Sookdeo and supervised by Insp Roberts and Sgt Roland.
