US President Donald Trump found himself on the receiving end of Twitter after he toured a new medical mask factory in Arizona without wearing a face-covering himself in the wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The president wore safety goggles during his tour but skipped the mask although a signboard at the factory clearly directed people to cover their mouths within the premises. "Attention: Face Mask Required in this Area. Thank You!" the signboard said.
While production workers at the facility did wear masks, Trump and other dignitaries avoided it.
The internet found it rather ironic that Trump chose to ditch the mask while touring a factory which makes it and schooled him on Twitter. Angry posts flooded social media as users exclaimed, "Trump is traveling to Arizona today to tour a mask facility. Why? He refuses to wear masks, and doesn't believe in them."
Also, this: "Apparently Covid-19 doesn't infect big shots; only the worker is wearing a mask in the mask factory."
Well, well. Twitter is fuming at the moment.
HOW DO PEOPLE SUPPORT THIS??! What a nightmare!

And why wasn't he wearing one?

Is he for real?

trump finding a mask would be a gift to the American people, so it makes sense that he wouldn’t find one.
— Pete Puma (@PeterPumer) May 6, 2020
Trump couldn’t find a mask in a mask factory. It’s sounds like a sick burn but that actually happened.

Donald Trump didn’t wear a mask to the mask factory.

And...scene!
Apparently CV19 doesn't infect big shots; only the worker is wearing a mask in the mask factory.

Visual and auditory irony.
Trump is traveling to Arizona today to tour a mask facility. Why? He refuses to wear masks, and doesn’t believe in them.

Host Jimmy Kimmel also put forth his point with respect to the fact that the Guns N' Roses song Live And Let Die played in the background as Trump toured the factory.
I can think of no better metaphor for this presidency than Donald Trump not wearing a face mask to a face mask factory while the song “Live and Let Die” blares in the background. pic.twitter.com/mJzU1HW7HA

Twitter is also of the opinion that:
Whoever played Live And Let Die whilst Trump was visiting a mask factory today is a twisted genius pic.twitter.com/NZqggBXeMp
— Nooruddean (@BeardedGenius) May 5, 2020
Music was definitely planned out. Cheers to the workers.

The internet also noticed something that you might not have.
The masks in The green basket are now contaminated by these two men talking on top of it, before leaving the factory floor
— Get Real (@Getrealorelse) May 6, 2020
And contaminated the whole batch at the same time.
— Rook0914 (@Rook_SpartyOn) May 6, 2020
The guy with the bare hands touching the mask material!!!
— MG (@MG51466791) May 6, 2020
yeah that whole batch is contaminated
— Dmitri (@yogthos) May 6, 2020
Did someone just say bronzer?
Well of course he didn’t cover his face or wear a mask. That would have messed up his full face bronzer.
— sQueex (@squeekumz) May 6, 2020
Most certainly!

The Honeywell International Inc factory that Trump visited makes N95 face masks for healthcare workers. The facility is producing face masks for the US Department of Health and Human Services, Reuters reports.
Apart from Trump, Darius Adamczyk, Honeywell Chief Executive Officer, Mark Meadows, White House Chief of Staff and a few other visiting dignitaries also did not wear masks.

Before leaving for the tour on Tuesday, Trump had in fact told reporters that he might wear a mask at the factory.
