After spending six-years, Co-Founder of Swiggy Rahul Jaimini has reportedly quit food delivery company.
Along with his two partners, Sriharsha Majety and Nandan Reddy, Rahul Jaimini founded this company in 2014.
In respect to what Rahul Jaimini will be doing post leaving Swiggy, he will be joining hands with Pesto Tech, a career accelerator startup. The company said this in a statement.
The roles played by Jaimini in the firm which were inclusive of platform engineering, analytics, IT, and Swiggy Labs; these will be now taken over by Dale Vaz. Notably, the other two partners of Swiggy have wished Jaimini the very best on what he will be pursuing now in life. While the responsibilities of Jaimini at Swiggy will have shrunk, he will continue to be a board member and a shareholder at the company.
On the work front, in April Swiggy just closed its most recent funding round at around $156 million which was led by Naspers along with smaller investors Ark Impact, Korea Investment Partners, Samsung Ventures and Mirae Asset Capital Markets.
