Noida: RWAs oppose quarantine wards in sector schools

NOIDA: Residents' Welfare Associations (RWAs) from several sectors have protested the conversion of schools in residential sectors like 20, 41, 56 and 34 to quarantine centres.
They have suggested that educational institutions away from the city limits be used as such facilities, along with hotels and the Noida Stadium. "We have learnt that the administration is taking over Millennium School, Sector 41," said Anil Khanna, the RWA president.KK Jain RWA president, Sector 34, said more than 13 local schools are to be made quarantine facilities. DM Suhas LY said: "No immediate action will be taken."
