Royal Enfield has appointed Kaleeswaran Arunachalam as the new chief financial officer (CFO). Arunachalam succeeds Lalit Malik who served as the CFO over the last 10 years. Malik will continue working for Royal Enfield as the chief commercial officer (CCO).
Arunachalam has garnered vast experience over a career spanning 17 years. He has worked in areas such as corporate finance, business partnering, investor relations, fundraising, strategic planning, risk management and more. Some of his previous employers include Aditya Birla Fashions, Mondelez International and the TVS Motor Company. He will report to Vinod K Dasari, CEO, Royal Enfield.
Amid the new appointment at the top management, Royal Enfield has also resumed operations at its Oragadam factory, setting the economic wheel in motion. The company also announced that 120 Royal Enfield dealerships have re-opened their shutters, with more to follow in the coming weeks.
