Three of family found murdered in Prayagraj

PRAYAGRAJ: Three members of a family, including two women, were found murdered in Andhi village under the limits of Manda police station of Prayagraj district on Thursday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Nand Lal Yadav (55), his wife Chabili (50) and daughter Raj Dulari (15), all residents of Andhi village.
On being alerted, senior police officials, including IG Prayagraj range KP Singh along with forces and forensic experts, rushed to the spot and carried out investigations.
IG told TOI, "Initial police investigation indicated family dispute behind the killing of family members." He added that one of the elderly daughter-in-law of elderly slain couple had threatened them of dire consequences about three days back.
The killers had silt the throat of all three family members. IG also said that Nand Lal and his wife were sleeping outside the house while their teenage daughter was sleeping inside the house.
The assailants had broken the locks of almirah and boxes and scattered the household items. Investigations are underway.
