Negi searched for contact number of the shop on Google. He said he found two landline numbers. He called them up, but his calls did not connect. Later, he received a call on his mobile. The caller said the shop is closed owing to the lockdown and he could order online.
The man told him to download the "QuickSupport"app from play store and gave him their bank account details and told them he can pay the money through IMPS mode. Negi said he paid Rs 730 through Paytm after generating an OTP number. Later, Negi received five messages of Rs 39,999, Rs 39,999, Rs 19,999, 19,999 and Rs 20,000 being debited from his savings account.
