Aarogya Setu app row: Centre issues clarification after concerns being raised over privacy in COVID-19 app

After privacy concerns were raised about the Aarogya Setu app, Centre has clarified saying that Aarogya Setu is a robust app in terms of privacy protection & safety, the security of data. Government has said that the App uses the latest Bluetooth technology, algorithms and artificial intelligence and that the app is designed to keep a user informed, in case she/he crosses paths with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
