MasterChef Australia suffered a subtle editing fail on Wednesday night.
During judging of the mystery box challenge, a local in Melbourne's Elwood threatened to upstage the result.
As Andy Allen, Melissa Leong, and Jock Zonfrillo were about to reveal the winners, a casually-dressed man walking past could not be missed on camera.

Wednesday's episode saw contestants taking part in the mystery box challenge, with three winners given the chance to earn the immunity pin on Thursday.
Continuing on with this week's 'Suburban Takeover' theme, filming took place on a grassy knoll in Melbourne's Elwood.
Contestants were required to cook up a dish in 75 minutes using fruit and vegetables grown in the suburb's backyards, as well as one other ingredient from a local Coles.

However just before the judges announced Tracy Collins, Amina Elshafei and Emelia Jackson were the winners, a passerby threatened to upstage the result.
A middle-aged man dressed casually in a polo shirt and trackpants was featured predominantly onscreen, walking behind the judges.
And in another scene, a young boy on a bicycle was also pictured behind the judges.
