About $50,000 cash was dropped by bumbling thieves after a suspected robbery attempt went horribly wrong.
Wads of cash were strewn across Paul Street at Bondi Junction, Sydney, after three masked men dropped a money tin they had stolen from a man outside a garage on on Tuesday afternoon.
Witness Michala Horry told Nine News it was a surreal experience.
'That is crazy... I did not expect that,' she said.

The stacks of crisp $50 and $100 bills have been seized by police for forensic analysis.
Police are investigating reports three men in masks forced another man into a garage on Old South Head road and took off with a tin box he had been carrying.
Officers patrolling saw the three running down Paul Street and gave chase when one of the men dropped the tin, scattering the cash across the road.
The men got into a Toyota Aurion and were last seen heading the wrong direction down Henrietta Street, a one-way street.

New South Wales police officer Gretchen Atkins confirmed they would keep the money if no-one came forward to claim it.

Investigators are keen to speak with the man who had the money-tin stolen, and anyone else who witnessed the incident, or who may have CCTV.
'We don't know if they are known to each other, and we really are appealing for witnesses,' Ms Atkins said.
