Maharashtra: Massive fire breaks out in Bhiwandi chemical godown

The fire spread rapidly as the chemical- filled drums exploded one after another.
BHIWANDI: A massive fire broke out on Wednesday at a chemical godown in Rahnal area in Bhiwandi, but nobody was injured in the incident.
The blaze occurred on Wednesday afternoon at 1.15pm inside Shankar Compound chemical godown at Rahnal area where the barrels filled with chemicals were stored, a fire officials from Bhiwandi fire department said.
The fire spread rapidly as the chemical- filled drums exploded one after another.
Around six fire tenders from Bhiwandi and Thane are trying to control the fire.
An officials said that "Reason behind fire is yet to be known. No loss to life or injury has been reported,".
