Homeowners often use Instagram to seek out the most serious style inspiration for their interior projects before boasting the trends on their own account.
But now new research has uncovered the most popular home decor-trends online, ranging from rustic log burners to stylish bar carts.
Bathroom specialists Drenched.co.uk have revealed the top 20 trends, based on the number of mentions the corresponding hashtag has built up.
Among the most popular hashtags were boohoo style Macrame wall hangings, with 585,563 mentions, and chic Smeg appliances, with 349,276 tagging the brand in their posts.

Another popular Insta-worthy trend appears to be the kitchen pantry, with 371,485 mentions on the social media site
Perhaps surprisingly, Macrame wall hangings were named the most popular home decor trend.
The boohoo interior decoration may have boomed in popularity as people take up DIY kits to craft the piece for their home during isolation.
Next on the list was kitchen islands, followed by the brand Farrow and Ball, which gives it's paint colours quirky names including Nancy's Blushes and Cooking Green Apple.
The hashtag for pantry came next, with appliance brand Smeg coming in a close fifth, and feature walls sixth on the list.

Meanwhile homeowners also appear to love the bold and colourful feature wall, which appeared as number six on the list

And the colorful, characterful Smeg fridges were also included high on the list of popular Instagram trends
Hanging plants came in seventh place, with over 216,000 mentions, while bay windows snuck in at eighth place with 215,000 mentions.
Log burners and ceramic tiles also snuck into the top ten of popular trends, closely followed by bar carts and pampass grass, which is an attractive ornamental grass
Other trends in the top 20 most popular hashtags included free standing baths, Moroccan rugs and floating shelves.
Meanwhile trends, such as wicker furniture and patio doors, also proved popular enough to sneak into the top of the interior trends.
