Giving this information through the tweet, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that on the instruction of Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi, we have decided that the state government will pay the rent of migrant workers sent from Rajasthan to other states.
In another tweet, he said that the state government will bear the fare for migrant workers trapped due to the lockdown who wants to go to their homes outside the state. Our government will ensure that the workers trapped in this hour of crisis do not have to pay the travel fare themselves to go home.
He said that the Rajasthan government will also make arrangements for such people who want to go to their state by rail, to pay their railway travel fare, and to get those going by road to the border of Rajasthan free of charge.
