A Coles shopper has been left outraged after finding a plastic object in his 1.5-litre water bottle.
The customer purchased the eight-pack of the Coles brand drink from a store in Keysborough, 27km south-east of Melbourne, before quarantine began in March.
The customer shared images of the little white object that he almost swallowed to social media.

'Talk about gross and unsanitary,' he captioned the images.
'Don't know when I bought these bottles and this one appears to be the only one affected.
'Nevertheless it was not a pleasant surprise to take a mouthful of water only to find that in it.'

The customer told Daily Mail Australia since he made the social media post the supermarket chain has been in touch with him.
'They got some details and offered me a full refund in line with their 100 per cent customer satisfaction guarantee on all Coles brand products,' he said.
A Coles spokesperson said: 'Coles takes the quality of all our products seriously. We have spoken to the customer and will follow up with our supplier to investigate the matter.
'As always we encourage customers to return any item they're not 100 per cent happy with to their nearest store for a full refund or replacement.'
