The Rajasthan government has implemented the Epidemic Ordinance, 2020 in the state. Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra signed the 'Rajasthan Pandemic Ordinance, 2020' on May 1, which provides for stringent legal punishment to prevent the epidemic. There is a provision of a fine of Rs 10,000, a two-year sentence, or both together for violating the law.
