Lupin’s US unit announced positive top-line results from its pivotal Phase 3 clinical trial to assess efficacy and safety of single-dose Solosec oral granules in 147 female patients with trichomoniasis.

The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 3716.09 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2019 , down -13.52 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 4296.9 crore and down -15.12 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 4377.94 crore.

The net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs -835.0 crore, up 450.25 per cent from the same quarter a year ago .

As of 31-Mar-2020 , domestic institutional investors held 10.14 per cent stake in the company , while foreign institutional investors held 22.68 per cent and the promoters 46.64 per cent.
