Deesa town declared containment zone

Palanpur: Deesa town was declared containment zone after three persons tested positive for Covid-19 there on Monday. One new case was also reported from Patan. Nitaben Darji, 33, who had returned from Ahmedabad on May 2 tested positive along with Babubhai Vaghela, 55, and his wife Jiviben Vaghela, 45. All three were admitted to Banas Medical College, said its executive officer Jawahar Chandani. The district has recorded 26 positive cases till date. Meanwhile, in Patan district a 44-year-old man tested positive on Monday. He is resident of Katarasamal village in Saraswati taluka. TNN
