135 personnel of the same battalion of CRPF in Delhi are corona positive

So far 135 personnel of a battalion deployed in Central Delhi of the Central Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) are Corona positive. With this, CRPF has become the most affected by the Coronavirus. A senior CRPF official said that all these soldiers are members of the 31st battalion of paramilitary force located at Mayur Vihar Phase-3 in East Delhi. Due to the large number of patients suffering from this infection in the last few days, the entire campus has been sealed. He said that a total of 135 personnel of this battalion have been found corona positive.

A senior officer said that samples of 480 personnel were taken from this unit for investigation, out of which 458 have been reported and 22 are awaiting results. He said that a mobile test lab has been set up in the battalion premises to ensure the rapid collection of samples. Also, the sanitization of the entire campus has been done.

According to the senior official, all of these members have coronation symptoms, such a patient is suffering from this infection, but its symptoms are not visible and it is expected that those people will get well soon. A jawan has recovered from the corona while 55-year-old sub-inspector Mohammad Ikram Hussain died on Tuesday from the coronavirus.
