Select shops to open in Ayodhya

AYODHYA: The district administration has allowed reopening of 32 types of businesses establishments in Ayodhya from Tuesday under strict restrictions of Covid-19 protocol.
District magistrate Anuj Kumar Jha on Monday night permitted 12 kinds of establishments, including automobiles workshops, bakeries and beauty parlours, to run six days a week from 9am to 6pm and observe weekly holiday on Thursday.
The DM also allowed opening of fish market, but did not permit chicken and mutton shops.
The administration also allowed garment shops, mobile, hardware, jewellery shops, electronics and tailoring shops to open three days a week, on alternate days.
The shops will have to maintain social distancing and shop owner, staff and customers should have downloaded Aarogya Setu app. The shop owner will also ensure availability of mask, sanitizers and health registers, said Jha.
