UPPSC Assistant Engineer exam postponed

NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has postponed the Assistant Engineer recruitment examination to an undetermined period. Earlier, the UPPSC Assistant Engineer examination was scheduled to be held on June 7, 2020, which has now been postponed indefinitely. The Commission will announce a new date on the official website later.
UPPSC is conducting this recruitment drive to fill up a total of 712 Assistant Engineer vacancies to the various departments, in which 692 vacancies are for general post and 20 vacancies are for special posts. The online application process for UPPSC Assistant Engineer recruitment commenced on December 30, 2019, and concluded on January 27, 2020.
